Youth Ministry

“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out.” –Romans 12:1-2 (Message)

“Our desire is that our Junior and High School students will fall hopelessly in love with Jesus Christ and serve him passionately as their Lord and Savior.”

What do we do in our youth ministry? Generally we have a LOT of fun! But more importantly, we help students discover and grow in a real faith that makes a difference in their lives. We want to help them discover the kind of faith that gives their lives purpose and hope. We want them to grow as worshipers, evangelists, and prayer leaders who understand God’s word and who will make a difference in their world.

So what will your kids be learning here?

Salvation/Discipleship

We long for our kids to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We want them to know God’s word and to desire His presence daily in their lives. We want them to experience small groups with adult leaders who will challenge their faith and prepare them for living out their Christian beliefs in the “real world”.

Worship

We desire to develop student worshippers who are passionate for God and long for His presence.

Service

We teach our students to have a heart for people, whether they are in the church or outside the church walls. We want to grow with compassion and learn to share  God’s message of hope through actions as well as words. Through service, we teach our students to discover their spiritual gifts and use these gifts to build up the body of Christ.

Outreach

We pray for students to have their hearts ignited for their non-church friends and we teach them to share their faith through personal testimony and friendships where Christ is invited into the conversation.

Prayer

We work together with our students as they learn to have a daily, personal relationship with God and live out that faith as they pray for others.

Have Fun! Be a family!

We believe that a church that is sold out for Jesus will be a place where students want to be! We want them to have fun, build deep friendships, become a family and enjoy the abundant life that Jesus promised through Bible study, prayer, encouragement, fellowship, and accountability.
