What is Peacemaking?

All relationships go through ups and downs. Husbands and wives, parents and children, siblings, friends, roommates, every type of relationship will struggle at some point with conflict. Often, we are able to work out our differences. Other times, we fight…and sometimes the relationships break down entirely.

While many of us can resolve a conflict, few of us truly know how to reconcile in a way that brings lasting peace when conflict inevitably arises again.

At CCC, we want to be peacemakers. What does that mean, exactly? Being peacemakers means helping people to work through their conflicts in a God-honoring way that brings lasting peace to a relationship. We want to help you learn to build trust, patience, and understanding in conflict, so you can work through the rough times…not be destroyed by them.
