Summer Session 1 Classes & Workshops

Exploring Creative Arts Thursdays
In this class, students will explore a new art medium each week through fun, hands-on projects in a creative and encouraging environment. Participants will work with acrylic on canvas, watercolor on paper, construction paper collage, and watercolor with oil-resist techniques while building confidence and experimenting with different artistic styles. Each student will leave with unique take-home artwork and new creative skills.

Fishing 101 Fridays 10:30-11:30AM
This fun, interactive class introduces kids to the basics of fishing, including how to choose a pole, select bait, bait a line, and safely handle and remove a fish. The course includes two 1-hour sessions and a final 2-hour hands-on fishing experience at a local pond, where students will practice what they’ve learned. Parents are welcome to attend any session and are responsible for transportation to the pond on the final day.

Bike Repair & Tune-Up Tuesdays 6-7PM
This hands-on workshop teaches practical bike maintenance skills for riders of all experience levels. Participants will learn how to handle common roadside repairs like fixing flat tires and slipping chains, along with the basics of shifting adjustments and brake tuning. The class also includes helpful care tips specifically for e-bikes. Demonstrations will be done on a shop bike, and participants are welcome to bring their own bikes to ask questions and apply what they’re learning.

Beginning Watercolor Thursdays
This class introduces the basics of watercolor painting in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Students will learn how to work with this expressive medium—often known for having “a mind of its own”—while building confidence in simple techniques and brush control. Along the way, participants will create their own hand-painted cards, bookmarks, and other small take-home projects. No prior experience is needed.

Guitar Lessons Mondays & Tuesdays
These individual 30 or 45-min sessions are designed for beginner to intermediate players and are tailored to each student’s current skill level. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to improve your technique, lessons provide personalized instruction in a supportive setting. Students should bring their own guitar. This ongoing class meets each participant where they are and helps build confidence and musical ability step by step.

Create: Paint-Along Workshops Fridays June 26, July 27, & Aug 21
Join us for a fun, step-by-step acrylic painting series featuring bright summer fruit themes! This relaxed, follow-along workshop is perfect for both beginners and experienced painters. Enjoy snacks, laughter, and a welcoming environment while creating a canvas painting you’ll be proud to display or give as a gift.
All materials are provided—just bring your creativity! Teens and adults are welcome, and children ages 8–12 may attend with an adult present to assist during the painting process.

Digital Music Production Thursdays 7-8PM
Learn how to create and record your own music using a computer. This beginner-friendly class introduces Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), basic music theory, vocal recording techniques, and the effects commonly used in modern music production. Along the way, you’ll explore how recording has evolved and gain practical skills to start building your own tracks at home. No prior experience needed.

Joyful Movement Exercise Mondays 7-8PM
This fitness class is designed to uplift both body and spirit in a welcoming, encouraging environment. Set to upbeat worship music, each class blends low-impact cardio, barre-inspired strength work, and gentle mat exercises suitable for all fitness levels. No prior experience is needed, and modifications are offered throughout so you can move comfortably at your own pace while building strength, flexibility, and energy.

Weekly Drop-In Opportunities

The Rec Room Tuesdays & Wednesdays 4-6PM
Looking for somewhere to hang out and keep cool this summer? Grades 6-12 can join us in the Rec Room for a safe and friendly place for you and your friends to chill. Come with a group or feel free to join us solo. Enjoy activities like pool, foosball, video games, arcade games, air hockey, and skeeball! No matter what you choose to do, there’s something enjoyable for everyone!

Mom's Social Group 1st & 3rd Wednesdays Every Month 9:30-11AM
Join us twice a month on Wednesdays for a relaxed and welcoming time with other moms of young kids. This group is all about building community, sharing encouragement, and connecting with women who understand this busy season of life. Whether you’re looking for conversation, friendship, or simply a place to belong, there’s a seat for you here. Come as you are—we’d love to have you!
